About the film
Kirayadar is a 1986 Hindi film directed by Basu Chatterjee, starring Raj Babbar, Padmini Kolhapure, Utpal Dutt and Vidya Sinha. The soundtrack was composed by Bappi Lahiri, with playback by Mahendra Kapoor, Asha Bhosle and Mohammed Aziz. A widow and her working daughter renting a flat in Mumbai are asked to move out, and the eviction dispute entangles them with the landlord's family.
