Dilraj Kaur is a Mumbai-born playback singer trained in Hindustani classical music, whose first film was Jaan Hazir Hai (1975). She went on to sing for R.D. Burman, Laxmikant-Pyarelal, Kalyanji-Anandji, Bappi Lahiri, Usha Khanna and Ravindra Jain, and one of her best-known songs is "Mausam Mastana", a duet with Asha Bhosle for R.D. Burman's Satte Pe Satta (1982). Outside films she has sung ghazals, including an album with Ghulam Ali.
