About the film
Diwana is a 1967 Hindi film directed by Mahesh Kaul, starring Raj Kapoor, Saira Banu and Lalita Pawar. The soundtrack was composed by Shankar-Jaikishan, with playback by Mukesh and Sharda. Pyarelal, an orphan raised by his Muslim landlady Fatima, falls in love with Kamini, whose guardian Sir Mayadas turns out to be his own father.
