About the film
Apnapan is a 1977 Hindi film directed by J. Om Prakash, starring Jeetendra, Sanjeev Kumar, Reena Roy and Sulakshana Pandit. The soundtrack was composed by Laxmikant-Pyarelal, with playback by Lata Mangeshkar and Mohammed Rafi. A woman abandons her husband and infant son for selfish reasons, and years later, after the father has remarried, finds she cannot reclaim her child.
