Pulp Fiction Music From The Motion Picture vinyl LP front cover

Pulp Fiction Music From The Motion Picture Vinyl LP

Rs. 7,499.00

The soundtrack to Quentin Tarantino's 1994 film Pulp Fiction, first released by MCA Records on 27 September 1994. This copy is the European MCA reissue: the back sleeve reads Made in the EU, and a sticker on the shrink-wrap says Made in Czech Republic.

No traditional score was commissioned for the film, so the album is made of songs from the film, a mix of rock and roll, surf, pop and soul, with dialogue cut in between. It opens with the Pumpkin And Honey Bunny exchange running into Misirlou, the Dick Dale & His Del-Tones recording that plays during the opening credits. Royale With Cheese and Samuel L. Jackson's Ezekiel 25:17 are here too.

Many of the songs were suggested to Tarantino by the musician Boyd Rice, Misirlou among them, and others by his friends Chuck Kelley and Laura Lovelace, who are credited on the sleeve as music consultants. Urge Overkill's cover of Neil Diamond's Girl, You'll Be A Woman Soon reached number 59 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the album reached number 21 on the Billboard 200.

Is Misirlou on this record?

Yes. Dick Dale & His Del-Tones' Misirlou, the music from the film's opening credits, is the first song on side one, straight after the Pumpkin And Honey Bunny dialogue.

Is the record sealed?

Yes, it arrives factory sealed and unplayed.
