About the film
Ondu Muttina Kathe is a 1987 Kannada film directed by Shankar Nag, starring Rajkumar, Archana, Shivaram and Mukhyamantri Chandru. The soundtrack was composed by L. Vaidyanathan, with playback by Dr. Rajkumar, Ratnamala Prakash and C. Aswath. A coastal Karnataka pearl diver named Aithu is beset by troubles after he finds a valuable pearl and tries to sell it, in an adaptation of John Steinbeck's novella The Pearl.
